Summary:  This chapter discusses personality disorders which are usually not treatable in a mission setting, so the best way to prevent disasters is to improve the selection process of that candidates with personality disorders are not sent overseas. Title: The MMPI as a predictive tool for missionary candidates
Journal of Psychology and Theology  24, 124-132.  1996
Summary:  An article describing double blind experiment for predicting missionary success by looking only at MMPI results and dividing people into "Yes," "No," and "Maybe" categories. Yes and no predictions were accurate 77% and 71% of the time, and maybe predictions were divided. Criteria are given.

Summary:  Deals with bruising, personality disorders and assessment. There is an emphasis on personality disorders, and the use of the MMPI to assess them. The MCMI may be a better tool for that.
