| Summary: |
This reports a study of psychosocial development in 292 adult MKs based on Erkson's theory. When compared with the general population the development scores for MKs were lower than the norm. Correlations between the subject's perceptions of their family and development were significant generally. Comparisons were made on a number of variables to see which affected development. Abbreviated version of this article is also Wrobbel, K. (1990) Adult MKs: How different are they? Evangelical Missions Quarterly, 26, 164-170. |

Perhaps the multi-cultural MK has a different balance between the two attitudes of each of Erikson's stages, not a better or worse balance.
The data show that the family has a great influence on psychosocial development. When the work came ahead of the family, the children knew it and suffered. |
