Summary: An article which is basically an open letter to be sent to friends and families of TCKs returning to the united states for high school, college, or permanently so that their normal reactions as TCKs will not be misinterpreted. Same as in Interact December, 1997, Vol. 7., No. 2, pp. 8-10.
Gems: What upsets them is that so much of the youth program is entertainment focused and so little time and attention is devoted to serious Bible study. The MK, however, desperately needs a friend. Those on the margin, or rejected by the group themselves, also in need of a friend and thus often seek out or befriend the MK. Unfortunately this may be the worst person to introduce the MK to the group.
